Cycling in the Burggrafenamt

Enjoy a pleasant bike ride on the Passer cycle path, which runs along the Passer River and offers spectacular views of the surrounding nature.
The Vinschgau cycle path takes you from Merano to Malles, passing picturesque orchards, vineyards and historic villages.
Another wonderful option are the various Alpine tours around Merano 2000 and Schenna, which take you through idyllic forests and meadows to the traditional alpine pastures - perfect for a relaxing break with rare views of Merano and the Adige Valley.

Train & bike

The well-developed cycle paths can be easily combined with the Vinschger Valley railway or other train connections, allowing you to travel effortlessly from one stage destination to the next. Various hire stations in Bozen and Reschen also offer the option of hiring bikes locally and organising your tour flexibly.
